Human Health
The concept of health refers to so much more than whether or not you are sick. When researchers and doctors study health, they are studying the way that the body works: what can break it down, and what can make it better - how to protect it, and how to make it more resilient. This section of Frontiers for Young Minds will include articles from across nutrition and fitness - disease and physiology – genetics and the environment - treatments and medicine – body and mind - and changes that happen as we grow. It will also include articles about the myriad of complex tools and sophisticated techniques that are available for studying the body. By providing access to fundamental concepts and cutting-edge knowledge about health, this section hopes to help young scientists to know more about the ways living beings are able to maintain a state of physical and mental health. There is still so much more to be discovered and understood, and we can only rely on a new generation of brilliant young minds to make this happen.
